Dr. Virginia Van Osdel, D.D.S. is a 1974 graduate of the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. She is a native Californian, was born in Los Angeles and grew up in the San Fernando Valley. She did her undergraduate work at UCLA before moving across town to USC for dental school.
After graduation, "Dr. Virginia" started working for her father, Dr. Robert L. Van Osdel in his Beverly Hills office. This was a fruitful collaboration as "Dr. Robert" had created a very high level restorative and reconstructive practice. After his retirement, Dr. Virginia moved the practice to its current location at 9201 Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood.
Dr. Virginia taught at USC part time for about 10 years after her graduation, enjoying the academic atmosphere. She was the first clinical instructor to be certified in both the Operative Department and the Crown and Bridge Department. She is a member of the American Association of Women Dentists and Past President of the prestigious Beverly Hills Academy of Dentistry.
